A conference for teacher librarians, library managers, librarians, teachers and curriculum leaders, Friday 16 August 2013 at the Melbourne Park Function Centre.
Clinical Assistant Professor Kristin Fontichiaro, is well known to many, through her blog http://bit.ly/fontblog, her column “Nudging Toward Inquiry” in the School Library Monthly , as a 2012 Library Journal Mover and Shaker and as an American Library Association Emerging Leader.
Helen Kent and Catherine Reid from the Melbourne Graduate School of Education, University of Melbourne will give us the national perspective when they explore the inclusion of the visual in the Australian curriculum. Concurrent sessions will examine digital resources to support the Australian Curriculum and look at the engagement of students as both users and creators.
