Well moved onto Week 4 and really don’t understand DIIGO, maybe a bit tired or just confused. Would like to know how and why people use it. Will find out at the SLAV Conference next week when Miffy Farquharson gives her presentation on Curation Tools and Tony Richards on Diigo.
Anyone else that is struggling with this feel free to register at http://www.slav.schools.net.au/downloads/07conference/4_5_12Rego.pdf
As well as having a LinkedIn account, I have now got a Blog, Twitter, Skype account and have finally succumbed to Facebook for this PLN. I can see how you can get addicted. Have also worked out how to connect my Scoop. It account to other social media so I can broadcast my thoughts to the world. Now I just have to remember which hat I am wearing whenever I broadcast anything!! No such thing as compartmentalising…….
Now do I go to Unit 4 of the PLN or Week 3 of my TAE course or watch the footy? Dont know if I can do all 3 at once.

As a tool Khan Academy will benefit educators, students, and parents in a quest for knowledge, practice, and reinforcement. It will not, however, be a game-changing reform agent as the private sector sees it.
The Khan Academy is a way for those who dont learn the ‘traditional way’ to have issues and subjects presented in a different way. Doesnt suit everyone but like eveything else a fantastic resource.

Do I or don’t I go on? That is the question that has been on my mind for the past week. I am feeling frustrated as I have start over each time I login because of the time that has lapsed. Am I brain fried or just plain dumb? Reading through other PLN participants made me realise that I wasn’t alone and has given me the incentive to keep going.
So today is catch-up day. Better than doing housework I guess LOL.
